Mamas Galore! See How the Stars Are Celebrating Mother’s Day 2019
From breakfast in bed to homemade cards, celebrities are just like Us when it comes to celebrating Mother’s Day!
First-time moms, including Duchess Meghan, Gabrielle Union, Shenae Grimes and more, doted extra hard on their little bundles of joy on Sunday, May 12, for the occasion, and didn’t shy away from sharing their joy on social media.
“Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you,” Prince Harry and Meghan captioned an Instagram picture that shows the Suits alum tenderly holding their 6-day-old son, Archie. “Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe. This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex.”
Over at Union’s house, her husband, Dwyane Wade, was in the kitchen cooking an extra special breakfast for the Being Mary Jane star, who appeared to have a perfect morning with their 6-month-old daughter, Kaavia.
Cardi B — who welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Kulture, with husband Offset in July 2018 — showed off two beautiful bags she was gifted for the occasion on her Instagram Stories, with the tot’s tiny hand in the clip. “Sooo happy,” she wrote. “I feel like the luckiest person in the world.”
Other celebrities were quick to honor their own moms with beautiful tributes, and many shared posts of gratitude to their wives who have mothered their children.
Ryan Reynolds, for his part, couldn’t let the opportunity to share a joke pass him by. “I love my mom. I love her willingness to try anything,” the Detective Pikachu star wrote. “About 4 months ago she took off on this motorcycle with one of my friends from high school. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom… Wherever you are.”
