John Legend and Daughter Luna Bond Over Ariana Grande Dance Parties

Like father, like daughter! John Legend and his 3-year-old daughter, Luna, love getting their groove on together.

“Luna loves to dance,” the EGOT winner, 40, told Us Weekly exclusively on Thursday, June 13. “We play music all the time. We have, like, dancing time in our little dining room with the record player in there. She loves that, I love that, and it’s a lot of fun. Bonding through music is definitely big.”

So what does the toddler like to listen to during their father-daughter dance sessions? “She loves my Christmas album [A Legendary Christmas] still,” the singer told Us. “We just [play] it in the summer, anytime of the year. Then she loves Ariana Grande. I play a bunch of older records, too, like a Curtis Mayfield or Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye. Definitely have some old big band music too. Then she likes her Disney classics.”

The little one, who is a big sister to Miles, 13 months, celebrated her 3rd birthday at Disneyland with her parents, and she is constantly seen sporting princess dresses on Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen’s social media accounts.

“Luna had a Disneyland birthday today!” the Voice coach captioned a selfie with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 33, and their daughter in a Sleeping Beauty gown. “(As far as she knows her birthday is today. Don’t tell her it’s Sunday please. Daddy has to work on Sunday. Thank you.)”

While the toddler inherited her love of music from her dad, Legend has his parents to thank for his clear complexion. When it comes to looking young, the two-time dad, who has partnered with SK-II, told Us, “I cleanse and moisturize and exfoliate and do all those things that I think will help me stay healthy, but I was probably blessed with some good genes too because my parents have great skin.”
