Here’s Everything Jessica Simpson Has Said About Her Pregnancies

What to expect when you’re expecting! Jessica Simpson has carried three babies (so far) and has been nothing but honest throughout her pregnancies.

The fashion designer announced in September 2018 that she and her husband, Eric Johnson, were expecting their third child, and her sister, Ashlee Simpson, was so in awe of Jessica for the way she handled the difficult time period.

Not only did Jessica suffer from extremely swollen feet, severe acid reflux and multiple bronchitis hospitalizations, but she also snapped a toilet seat lid by leaning back too far.

“I’m so proud of her for being open,” Ashlee told Us Weekly exclusively in February. “It’s not always easy, so I think being open about that is great.”

The Ashlee and Evan star added: “She’s tough. We’re talking about Jessica. Eric is amazing and … [Jessica’s] great. I mean, every time I’m around her, I don’t see any stress.”

The Dukes of Hazzard actress welcomed her baby girl, Birdie, in March 2019. The singer, who already shared Maxwell and Ace with the former NFL player, posted a pic of her three little ones the day after she gave birth.

“We are so happy and proud to announce the birth of our perfect daughter, Birdie Mae Johnson,” she captioned a black-and-white Instagram post of her eldest holding the infant’s hand at the hospital while her son looked on. “3.19.19. 10 Pounds 13 Ounces.”

Letting Off Steam
