Khloe Kardashian’s Best Quotes About Raising Her Daughter True

So in love! Khloe Kardashian welcomed her daughter, True, in April 2018 with her ex Tristan Thompson, and the reality star has been gushing about her baby girl ever since.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opened up about her dreams of motherhood long before her newborn arrived.

“I’m a really fun aunt, so I hope I’m going to be a fun mom!” Khloe told Refinery 29 in April 2015. “I like to have fun and be silly and not take myself too seriously with the kids, so I hope that will translate when I actually have my own.’”

Kardashian grew up with five siblings and didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand when Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian had babies before her.

In an August 2017 interview with Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, the Good American creator added, “My house is the fun house for my nieces and nephews. We do arts and crafts and bake a lot. We like to play outside and in the pool, just being goofy. I have water balloons and we have water fights. I’m like a big kid myself. At night when I babysit them, we have dance parties. I love to give their moms the evening off.”

When the Revenge Body host revealed that she was expecting a little one with Thompson on Instagram in December 2017, she wrote, “I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life!”

Baby True has been a staple on Khloé’s social media accounts since she was born.

Girl Gang

“I wanted a boy so badly Because Mason and I are so close,” the Dollhouse author wrote on Twitter in July 2018. “I love our bond. I felt confident in having a boy but God blessed me with my precious True, and now I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy. True has made me sweeter and more gentle. God gives you what you need. My BFF 4 Life.”

Digging Deep

In a May 2018 post on her Khloé with a K blog, the new mom opened up about the most unexpected part of motherhood. “I think what surprises me most is no matter how tired you are, you find this energy and patience for your child,” she said. “You know that babies are so helpless and they rely on you for everything. So something just takes over and you find the energy to care for this helpless precious baby.”

Choosing True

So where did the name True come from? In a blog post that same month, the Kocktails with Khloé host said that her grandmother, MJ, was actually the one who suggested the unique moniker. “She told me it was my great-grandfather’s first name and my grandfather’s middle name,” Khloè wrote. “It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head.”

Baby Bliss

After spending the holidays with her daughter for the first time, the Los Angeles native explained in an Entertainment Tonight interview what she loved most about being a mom. “I mean it’s so corny, but it’s just like, no matter how tired you are, it’s complete bliss, no matter what,” she admitted. “I mean, Christmas Day, I was so hungover and I was like, ‘How am I gonna get through this day?’ And just when you see your baby, and how happy [she is], you just get through it. I was like, ‘OK, I feel like I can do anything. I could do this.”

Skipping Showers

“Honestly it’s amazing!” Khloé wrote on Twitter in July 2018 when a fan asked her how motherhood was going. “Of course it’s an adjustment, but it’s so beautiful. Sometimes I don’t know what day it is, or I don’t get a shower LOL, but she is finally on a great sleep schedule so I get adult time, which is awesome!”
