Miranda Kerr, Nicole Phelps and More Celebs Who Had Back-to-Back Kids

Just 10 months after Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel welcomed their first child together, a son named Hart, the Australian model and the Snapchat CEO announced in March 2019 that they’re expecting a second. Kerr showed off her baby bump at an event days after news broke.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is also mom to 8-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.


“Oops we did it again,” Michael Phelps’ wife joked on Instagram in March 2019 when announcing the news of baby No. 3, who will join big brothers Boomer, born in May 2016, and Beckett, born in February 2018.


Already mom to three kids 5 and under, Oz shared news of baby No. 4 in March 2019 on The Dish on Oz.

During the episode, Daphne and two fellow co-hosts together cracked three eggs that contained messages, which read: “Springtime is near. By this time next year, a brand new baby will be here.”


Just seven months after the couple welcomed twin boys, the father of four announced that he and his wife are expecting their fifth child during a November concert at Madison Square Garden.

“Some of you may know that we have four children,” the musician said, according to a video published by The Blast. “We just had twins, about seven months ago. Now there’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five!”

Chris and Morgane, who wed in 2007, are already parents to three sons and one daughter but have chosen not to publicly reveal their names.


Six months after welcoming her first child, daughter Mia Love, with singer Robin Thicke, the model announced on Instagram the couple was expecting their second baby together. “Well someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again!” she captioned a video of their daughter holding the sonogram.

Daughter Lola Alain — named in part for Thicke’s late dad Alan — arrived in late February 2019. The singer also has a son, Julian, with ex Paula Patton.


Seven months after Kerr Aldean welcomed her son with country singer Jason Aldean, the couple announced they were expecting their second child together. Sharing the same photo of their son dressed in a onesie that reads “Big Brother”, the mom-to-be wrote, “Here we go again!” with baby and heart emojis while Aldean captioned his version with, “Sup everybody……. guess who is gonna be a BIG brother!”

Navy Rome made her debut in early February 2019.


Fourteen months after bringing home son Anacã, whom she shares with fiancé Hermann Nicoli, the supermodel revealed in December 2017 she was expecting the couple’s second child. “Christmas came early #2,” Swanepoel captioned her picture. She welcomed her second son in June 2018.


Fourteen months after welcoming her second child with husband Alec Baldwin (who has adult daughter Ireland with ex Kim Basinger), Hilaria gave birth to the couple’s third child, son Leonardo, in September 2016, joining big sister Carmen and big brother Rafael. In October 2017, the fitness guru and actor announced they were expecting their fourth child — baby boy Romeo! — together, 13 months after welcoming Leonardo.


Less than one year after they welcomed their daughter, Dusty Rose, the Victoria’s Secret Angel and husband Adam Levine announced they were expecting their second child together. “ROUND 2…..” wrote Prinsloo, alongside a photo of herself in a bikini, showing off her growing baby bump. In February, daughter Gio joined the family.


The Bachelorette alumna announced she was expecting her third child (son Gatlin Avery!) with husband Tyler Johnson in August 2017. The reality star has three children: teenage daughter Ricki from a previous relationship, plus toddlers Jennings Tyler and Gibson Kyle, whom she shares with Johnson. 

The couple welcomed Gibson Kyle in September 2016, just 14 months after Jennings Tyler. “We’re going to plan this one a little better. We’ll space it out a little bit better,” she previously said of having more kids following the birth of Gibson Kyle. “This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”


She became a first-time mom in September 2016, but 11 months after welcoming son Jack, Breckenridge was set to do it all over again. The This Is Us star and her husband Casey Neil Hooper announced they were expecting their second child in August 2017. “We made another one!!’ Breckenridge captioned a selfie of herself resting her hand on her baby bump. “Baby Breckenridge Hooper coming this winter.” 

The couple welcomed daughter Billie in December 2017.


Becoming a mom again fairly quickly might just be a piece of cake for Hilton Rothschild, who announced she and husband James Rothschild were expecting their second child less than a year after welcoming daughter Lily Grace.

Back in September 2016, the star’s mom, Kathy, said her daughter had taken to motherhood “like a duck to water.”

In December 2017, the couple welcomed daughter Teddy Marilyn.


Fifteen months after welcoming their daughter Max, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and wife Dr. Priscilla Chan announced they were expecting their second child. 

“After our difficult experience having Max, we weren’t sure what to expect or whether we’d be able to have another child,” read the couple’s announcement post. “When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy.”

Reality TV star Rob Dyrdek and wife Briyana (née Flores) announced their second round of baby news in June 2017, on the heels of son Kodah Dash’s birth nine months before.

That December, they welcomed daughter Nala Ryan.


It looks like the Counting On star and husband Ben Seewald couldn’t wait to give son Spurgeon a little brother! The couple announced they were expecting their second child — a boy named Henry — when their firstborn was 9 months old. Keeping up with that pace, they shared news of the impending arrival of baby No. 3 in January 2019.


Eighteen months after welcoming their son, Charlie Ocean, Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie shared joyous news with the world: the couple’s family was expanding! In April 2017, their second son, River, was born.


In February 2015, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Catriona added to their growing family once more with the birth of daughter Lachlyn Hope — whom they welcomed when big brother Dekker Edward was 16 months old. Gosselaar also has two teen children from his first marriage.


The New Girl star and husband Jacob Pechenik waited less than two years to give daughter Elsie Otter, then 18 months old, a little brother named Charlie Wolf.

The pint-sized cutie arrived 17 months after the birth of Tyler and Gardner’s first child together, son Sailor Gene. Both have children from previous relationships; Tyler is also mom to son Milo, while Gardner is dad to son Gray.


Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox’s son Journey arrived in 2016, two years after son Bodhi, now 4, who came immediately after their son Noah, now 6. Green also has a son, Kassius, from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.


Seven months after the star delivered daughter Maxwell in May 2012, she and husband Eric Johnson confirmed a sibling — their son Ace — was on the way. “I was extremely shocked. I was shocked because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica,” Simpson said. In September 2018, Simpson announced she was expecting again, and in March 2019 welcomed daughter Birdie.


One month after daughter Hattie was born, Spelling got the unexpected news in 2012 that she was pregnant for the fourth time. “I was shocked, obviously,” the actress and reality star told PEOPLE. Perhaps she shouldn’t have been; of her post-baby relationship with husband Dean McDermott, she admitted, “I didn’t want him to think that the sex was going downhill … So here you go. Here’s four.” But hey, more kids means more parties for the family, who welcomed son Finn Davey in August 2012, and their fifth child, Beau Dean, in March 2017.


Seeing double? Now 13 and 12, the pop star’s cuties Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline could pass for twins, though they’re separated by almost exactly a year (their birthdates are two days apart). 


James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly are parents to five young kids — all close in age. In June 2018, the couple welcomed their latest addition, daughter Gwendolyn, who joins siblings Olivia, Joshua, Annabel and Emilia.


In September 2005, Klum and then-husband Seal welcomed their first child, son Henry, only to announce the impending arrival of son Johan a few months later. The model and the performer, who have since split, are also parents to daughter Lou. Klum is mom to daughter Leni, her child from a previous relationship.


Ne-Yo and ex-girlfriend Monyetta (pictured) wasted no time when it came to giving their first child, daughter Madilyn, a little sibling. Eleven months after Madilyn’s arrival, the singer and his partner welcomed son Mason. The couple has since split, and Ne-Yo now has two more children with wife Crystal Renay: son Shaffer, born in March 2016, and son Roman, born in June 2018.


Fifteen months after Pak and actor-husband Terrence Howard became parents to their first child, Qirin, they welcomed son Hero in August 2016. While Hero is the couple’s second child, Howard has three children from a previous marriage: daughters Heaven and Aubrey, and son Hunter.


Before splitting, Watts and Liev Schreiber welcomed sons Sasha and Kai, who are one-and-a-half years apart.


Before getting hitched in 2011, the TV personality and estranged husband David Charvet began expanding their little family — welcoming daughter Rain in January 2007 and Shaya in March 2008. Burke-Charvet is also mom to teens Neriah Shae and Sierra Sky with ex-husband Garth Fisher.


The Olympian and mother of three explains that the 11-month separation between sons Joseph and Sundance was all part of the plan. “That’s exactly how we wanted it,” she blogged for PEOPLE about her timing. The decision was in part inspired by the volleyball player’s close relationship with her own brother, 11 months her senior. “It was my dream to have our children so close to each other and I feel so grateful and humbled that the big guy upstairs blessed us with the realization of that dream,” Walsh Jennings wrote. After a bit of a break, she and husband Casey Jennings welcomed daughter Scout Margery in April 2013.
