Carrie Underwood Sings Son Isaiah a High-Pitched Birthday Song – with the Help of Helium

If anyone can still be an incredible singer after filling their lungs with helium, it’s Carrie Underwood.

The country songstress, 35, celebrated her older son Isaiah Michael‘s fourth birthday on Wednesday with a special rendition of “Happy Birthday” — belted out with the help of a balloon.

After inhaling a bit of helium from a yellow balloon, Underwood (ever the multitasking mama, cradling her 5-week-old baby boy Jacob Bryan simultaneously) sings an over-the-top, high-pitched version of “Happy Birthday” to an overjoyed Isaiah.

At the end of his mom’s song, the little boy excitedly holds out his hands to take the balloon and try the voice-altering trick for himself.

“Happy birthday Isaiah?!!” dad/cameraman Mike Fisher captioned the adorable clip.

Carrie Underwood Is “Overjoyed” After Baby’s Birth as She “Didn’t Know If They’d Get to This Point”

Isaiah has had quite the eventful birthday week. On Sunday, Underwood showed off the festive and elaborate Muppets-themed cake (courtesy of Ivey Cake) that she served at her son’s special celebration.

The sweet treat consisted of a giant replica of Kermit the Frog resting atop a cake shaped like the number 4, which was also covered in polka dots and various beloved characters from the Muppets franchise like Miss Piggy, Rowlf, Animal, Gonzo, Beaker, Fozzie Bear and the Swedish Chef.

Along the base of the cake, a message proclaimed, “Happy birthday Isaiah,” along with a “MOST WANTED” stamp — a reference to the birthday boy’s favorite movie at the moment, Muppets Most Wanted.

“He wanted a ‘most dangerous frog’ cake and he most certainly got one!” explained the “Love Wins” singer.

A day later, Isaiah accompanied his dad to a Nashville Predators game, where they joined Fisher’s former teammate Roman Josi and Milan Lucic of the opposing team, the Edmonton Oilers, for a photo op on the ice.

“Thank you preds fans and @predsnhl for an unforgettable night!” the retired hockey pro, 38, captioned two snapshots of himself and Isaiah, walking out onto the rink before flashing huge smiles with the players.

“Izzy and I had a blast! #preds #hattrickpuckdrop #cheese,” added the proud dad. (The Predators ended the night with a victory, besting the Oilers in a close score of 3 to 2.)
